Word of God!!!
“Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,'and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."”
**Matthew 19:4-6
Let us Pray:
''Observe Justice''
Praise the LORD!
O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever. Who can utter the mighty doings of the LORD, or declare all his praise? Happy are those who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times.
Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people; help me when you deliver them; that I may see the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory in your heritage.
Both we and our ancestors have sinned; we have committed iniquity, have done wickedly. Our ancestors, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wonderful works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled against the Most High at the Red Sea.
Yet he saved them for his name's sake,so that he might make known his mighty power. He rebuked the Red Sea, and it became dry; he led them through the deep as through a desert. So he saved them from the hand of the foe, and delivered them from the hand of the enemy.

**Revelation 22:12-13
Let us Pray:
'To Be Free From Worry'
Father, I'm praying all will be free from worry...
Help us not worry when things don't go the way we expect. Jesus said we're not to fret, not to worry, not to let our hearts be troubled or afraid. He said we're to trust in You— and also in Him. May it be so in our lives and ministry, no matter how impossible things seem.
Keep us from worrying about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own. When such trouble comes, help us to cast all our anxiety on Christ because He cares for us.
Help us not to be anxious about anything but to pray about everything with thanksgiving—for when we do, You'll give us Your peace that surpasses our understanding, and such peace guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Keep our minds steadfast in trusting You, and give us Your perfect peace. May we turn to the Lord of Peace who will give us peace at all times, in every way.
Help us leave every worry at Your feet where it belongs.
In Jesus' name, amen.

“But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. "Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come! If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.”
**Matthew 18:6-9
Let us Pray:
'Prayer of Thanksgiving!'
We gather today, Lord of abundant life, as grateful children. Delighted and humbled by our bounty, we celebrate gifts of food and shelter, of colors that dance at dawn and dusk; we relish the scent of cooking foods, of burning leaves and summer's wet grass, of snowflake, of animal fur. We marvel at the intricacy of spiders' webs and fish bones, newborn babies and lines etched on faces of grandparents come for a visit today. All gifts from Your hand. When our meal is completed, leftovers stashed, and naps taken, we will leave replete, energized, and eager to go generously into the world and share our good fortune.

“He called a little child and had him stand among them. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds. You say, "I choose the appointed time; it is I who judge uprightly. When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm. Selah
To the arrogant I say, 'Boast no more,' and to the wicked, 'Do not lift up your horns. Do not lift your horns against heaven; do not speak with outstretched neck.' "
No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt a man. But it is God who judges: He brings one down, he exalts another. In the hand of the LORD is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs.
As for me, I will declare this forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob. I will cut off the horns of all the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.

Almighty God, we give you thanks for surrounding us, as daylight fades, with the brightness of the vesper light; and we implore you of your great mercy that, as you enfold us with the radiance of this light, so you would shine into our hearts the brightness of your Holy Spirit; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Grant us, Lord, the lamp of charity which never fails, that it may burn in us and shed its light on those around us, and that by its brightness we may have a vision of that holy City, where dwells the true and never-failing Light, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
O Lord God Almighty, as you have taught us to call the evening, the morning, and the noonday one day; and have made the sun to know its going down: Dispel the darkness of our hearts, that by your brightness we may know you to be the true God and eternal light, living and reigning for ever and ever. Amen.

“Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done. 'To Live Holy Lives'
Father, I'm praying for all in this world to have the self-control they need in every area of life...
Strengthen their hearts so we will be holy and blameless in Your presence when Christ comes. Help us make every effort to be good and knowledgeable, self-controlled and godly, relying on the Spirit's power within us.
May we imitate the Lord Jesus Christ in all we are and everything we do, and may the way we live match what we say we believe. May we make every effort to live clean and holy lives, devoting ourselves to You, to prayer, and to doing good.
May we desire more than anything else to follow You, setting our hearts and souls on seeking You. Help us move from strength to strength, faith to faith, and glory to glory. May our love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else.
In Jesus' name, amen.

No one with whom to share a word, a laugh, a sad remembrance, a gentle touch, a fond embrace, a kiss of love.
Bless each one who suffers from such loneliness.
Enrich life with a friend or gentle stranger who will spend a moment noticing and loving.
In those times your love shines through, the world is reborn, and Christ is known. So be it!
Amen.

Grow in God's Love Each Morning!
Word of God!!!
"“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” "
**Joshua 24:15
Let us Pray:
'Psalm of Comfort'
As the deer longs for the water-brooks, so longs my soul for you, O God.
My soul is athirst for God, athirst for the living God;when shall I come to appear before the presence of God?
My tears have been my food day and night, while all day long they say to me, "Where now is your God?"
I pour out my soul when I think on these things; how I went with the multitude and led them into the house of God,With the voice of praise and thanksgiving, among those who keep holy-day.
Why are you so full of heaviness, O my soul? and why are you so disquieted within me?
Put your trust in God; for I will yet give thanks to him, who is the help of my countenance, and my God.
**Psalms 42: 1-7

The Gospel is good news of mercy to the undeserving. The symbol of the religion of Jesus is the cross, not the scales.

Grow in God's Love Each Morning!
Word of God!!!
""Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. "
**Matthew 13:47-50
Let us Pray:
'Prayer of Despair'
I have been rejected and despised;
I am hurting and destroyed by the pain.
I am angry with this world , O God, for there is no comfort, none anywhere.
I am calling you as you are my comforter.
My cries echo in the universe and ring in my ears.. and I am weary of the taste of my tears.
Hear my plea, O God of love.
Let me not be destroyed by this agony on the brink of death.
I am like a broken reed, fragile and crushed.
Hear my plea, O God of love.
Let me not be destroyed.
Amen.

""The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it."
**Matthew 13:44-46
Let us Pray:
'I Shall Not Be Shaken'
For God alone my soul waits in silence;from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall never be shaken. How long will you assail a person, will you batter your victim, all of you, as you would a leaning wall, a tottering fence? Their only plan is to bring down a person of prominence. They take pleasure in falsehood; they bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah
For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah
Those of low estate are but a breath, those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. Put no confidence in extortion, and set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord. For you repay to all according to their work.

""As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear."
**Matthew 13:40-43
Let us Pray:
'I Am Not Afraid'
Be gracious to me, O God, for people trample on me;all day long foes oppress me; my enemies trample on me all day long, for many fight against me. O Most High, when I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?
All day long they seek to injure my cause; all their thoughts are against me for evil. They stir up strife, they lurk, they watch my steps. As they hoped to have my life, so repay them for their crime; in wrath cast down the peoples, O God!
You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your record? Then my enemies will retreat in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid. What can a mere mortal do to me?
My vows to you I must perform, O God; I will render thank offerings to you. For you have delivered my soul from death, nd my feet from falling, so that I may walk before God in the light of life.

"Then Jesus said to his disciples: "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? "Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well."
**Luke 12:22-31
Let us Pray:
'For All the Faithful Departed'
Jesus Christ, Lord of the living and dead: with each generation your body of believers grows and grows. Thank you for all who have gone before us, for what they achieved and what they learned. Give us strength to do your will to be your body now.
Amen.
